Libyan fighters continue to push ISIL out of coastal city
The U.S. says its forces carried out 10 air strikes on Libya’s seaside city of Sirte over the weekend. It’s in support of the government’s push to eliminate ISIL from the town. The Pentagon says Libyan forces on the ground are close to wiping out ISIL entirely. As those troops move into the group’s former strongholds, they’re coming across gruesome discoveries that provide some insight into ISIL operations.
